Blackberry Priv Gets Android MArshmallow Update

Although BlackBerry’s first Android smartphone did not perform well as expected, the company is still committed to supporting the phone.
The update will start rolling out to users on May 3rd and is available for all carriers.

The update brings the usual Marshmallow goodness including the latest security update and visual changes that Google packed into Android 6.0, BlackBerry also included updates to some of its apps including BlackBerry Hub, Launcher, and Keyboard.

The keyboard app, for example, includes support for swipe gestures which is a first for a physical keyboard, better word prediction, and more than 200 new emoji. You can view notifications from more apps in BlackBerry Hub (including Instagram, Skype, Slack, and Pinterest).

BlackBerry has also added support for 120 fps slow-motion video recording and 24 fps cinematic video recording at 720p, 1080p, or 4K resolutions and a slightly faster autofocus. Image quality still remains largely unchanged though.
