HP Partners With Google to Make a Sleek Brushed Aluminum Chromebook

HP has unveiled a new Chromebook today designed in partnership with Google called HP Chromebook 13. It looks more like a Chromebook Pixel on budget as its brushed aluminum construction and 12.9mm thinness that pretty much screams "high-end". It starts at $499 with a processor trade off in the measly pentium processor it comes with.

Other processo choices are also available with upto Core m7, up to 16GB of RAM and a 13.3-inch screen of upto 32000x1800 resolution. Battery life is expected to be upto par with Apple's latest MacBook at 11.5 hours.

The HP Chromebook 13 sports two USB Type-C ports, one plain old USB 3.0, a headphone jack, and a microSD card reader. It weighs 1.29kg. It will become available at some point in May, with pre-orders opening today.
