Samsung Launches Two New Smartphones in it's New Galaxy C Lineup

Samsung launched two new smartphones (Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7) in their new Galaxy C lineup. The two phones are fully clad in metal and are positioned in the upper mid-range.

The higher end Galaxy C7 sports a 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED and is powered by a Snapdragon 625 SoC and Adreno 506 GPU paired with 4GB of RAM and either 32 or 64Gb of expadable storage.
The main camera is a 16MP unit and an 8MP front shooter. A 3,300mAh battery (with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support) is there to keep the lights on.

The Galaxy C7 runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and features a home button embedded fingerprint sensor.

The phone will be aailable in silver, gray, gold, and rose gold. As for price, the 32GB variant carries a tag of RMB 2,599 (around $395), while the 64GB model costs RMB 2,799 (around $425). Availability details haven't been revealed yet.

The Galaxy C5 is a  metal mid-ranger in a slender 6.7mm body. It has a 5.2" full HD Super AMOLED screen and is powered by Snapdragon 617 chipset with Adreno 405 GPU. It has a non removeble 2600mAh battery and supports Dual SIM 4G.

The rest of is secs are similar to the Galaxy C7. It has the same camera setup, and the same storage options. Its fingerprint scanner is also embedded in the home screen and it will run Android marshmallow out of the box.

Its available for preorder with the 32GB Galaxy C5 going for CNY 2,200 ($335/€300) and the 64GB one for CNY 2,400 ($370/€330).
There is no information on wether the two smartphones will be launched outside of China.
