Meizu MX6 Has Been Made Official

Meizu has finally launched the MX6 flagship phone - the successor to last year's MX5. The MX6 has a metal build with a 5.5 inch Full HD display.

The MX6 is powered by the MediaTek Helio X20 chipset which is a deca-core processor in three clusters. There is also an ARM Mali T880 GPU paired with the processor to keep graphics running smoothly.

It's display uses in cell display technology that integrates the touch driver and display driver into a single chip. This helps to improve touch response and say power.

There's also 4GB of RAM on board and 32GB of storage space. Camera is  a 12MP Sony Exmor RSIMX 386 rear shooter complete with a  a six-element lens and a 1.25µm pixel size and a rather decent 5MP front camera which should be sufficient for selfie lovers.

The phone runs Meizu's Flyme 5.2 interface atop Android 6.0 Marshmallow and there is also a USB Type-C port and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Meizu MX6 will be available in gold, rose gold, silver and gray. The MX6 will be available for purchase on July 30 in China and will be approximately priced at $300 which puts it $90 cheaper than  Meizu Pro 6 which has similar specs save for the CPU which is a slightly over clocked Helio X25, 21MP camera and it's 5.2 inch display.
