Galaxy S8 Might be Powered by a 3GHz Exynos 8895 Chipset

Ever since the rumor that Samsung will launch the galaxy s8 earlier than usual, speculations have been going on online about the chipset that will power the next galaxy. Of course we know it will be something powerful; something powerful enough to rival the new A10 chipset in the iPhone 7.

The chip rumored to power the galaxy s8 is the Exynos 8895 which is said (according to rumors from china) to reach clock speeds of upto 3.0 GHz. That's quite a lot given that chipsets for mobile phones are usually underclocked to deal with heat.  Well the rumor also states that the Exynos 8895 will be the first from Samsung to be manufactured on the 10nm process and it will draw a maximum power of 5w. This should also explain the alleged crazy high multi core of 7019 on Geekbench. Single core score of 2301 is still pretty impressive though not as high as iPhone 7s A10 fusion's 3450 score. The chip is also said to improve image processing by upto 70%. That's a lot giving that the camera in the current flagships from Samsung are some of the best on any smartphone on the market. If this rumor turns out to be true, the S8 will be a true champion camera phone.     Source
